CITY OF KORONADAL ADOPTS SERVICES OF NSO

The City Government of Koronadal adopted the services of the National Statistic Office (NSO). Through the signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Local Government Unit (LGU) Koronadal and NSO on January 16, 2012 the city can now provide NSO services at the comfort of the City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO).
The use of Philippine Civil Registry Information System (Philcris) and Batch request entry system (BREQS) is about to be implemented. Philcris on the other hand is an online system to be used to hasten the transactions while BREQS is a soft ware to be installed in the computer.

Upon the activation of the system, the clients can start making transaction to the CCR for the authentication of live birth, certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR), marriage contract, death certificates and other related businesses. The said operation will cater all kinds of clientele coming from different places.

City Civil Registrar Eufemia Ogoy said that the clients who want to avail of the services will pay Php240.00 per document. The Php140.00 is for NSO transaction while Php100.00 is for service fees, she explained. Ogoy also added that making transactions in the city is more convenient and less expensive now than going to Gen. Santos City where the NSO is located. Activation of the Philcris and Breqs is expected before the end of the 1st quarter of the year 2012.
