Si engineer Benjamin B. Hurtado Jr., nga residente sang Barangay Carpenterhill, syudad sang Koronadal, ang daku nga bugal sang Koronadal tungod sa iya invention nga DAIKKHA DEMUDIFIER Mechanical Dryer nga may daku nga potential sa pagbulig sa mga mangunguma nga mapanubo ang costs kag losses sa harvest.
Ang Filipinnovation Award, isa ka search para sa mga best inventions nationwide.
Bangod sa pagpaninguha ni Mr. Hurtado nga makadiskubre sang efficient alternative equipment nga makabulig sa mga farmer sang Koronadal, naka-imbento siya sang perfect demudifier mechanical dryer pagkatapos sang series of experiment.
Ang feature sang machine nga iya na-imbento maka dry sang 50 tons of rice paddy per 20 hours, may drying cost nga Php 3.00 only per sack (50 kg) of rice paddy, includes electricity and 3 man labor/operator, high discovery of rice grains after milling (69%), 15 HP total power requirement, environment friendly ( smoke furnace because of total combustion technology), Biomass Fuel 100 kgs of rice hull per hour, easy maintenance, parts are locally available, 15 years guaranteed lifespan of drying bin and quality food grade and hazard free rice grains.
Suno sa nasambit nga imbentor, una na nga nahatagan siya sang award bilang champion sang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-12) sa ginpatigayon nga 2011 Regional Invention Contest and Exhibits (RICE) sa Likha Award Category kag sa subong ikaduha na nga award kag indi lang pang local kundi National Awardee sang Filipinnovation Network sang Nobyembre 25, 2011sa Mandaluyong City kadungan sa 4th Anniversary Celebration sang Filipinnovation.
