EDSP– Education Development Scholarship Program

EDSP– Education Development Scholarship program that offers financial assistance to qualified dependents of Active OFW’s. We are now accepting applicants for SY 2012-2013. The scholarship is open for the dependents of Active OWWA-Member OFW’s who are currently 4th year high school students, 16 to 21 yrs. Old. Here are the requirements:

Please submit 3 copies

1. Accomplished Application Forms A-F (forms to be provided by

OWWA XII)

2. 2x2 latest ID picture of applicant

3. Community Tax Certificate of the applicant (2011)

4. Proof of Relationship to member OFW:

4.1 Birth Certificate of Applicant and Birth Cert of Member OFW issued by NSO (if as brother or sister)

4.2 Form 137 or transcript of records

4.3 School Certification that Applicant is currently enrolled as 4th year high school student and in good standing.

5. Proof of OWWA Membership

5.1 Official Receipt and/or Cert. of membership coverage

6.Passport of OFW-photocopy of pages showing name, working visa and departure/arrival stamps.

7. Competitive Selection-Applicant must pass the National Qualifying Examination to be Administered by DOST and OWWA.
